Move Management

Let the RMS project managers collaborate with your staff to develop a complete relocation project plan that minimizes downtime, reduces stress and ensures nothing is overlooked. We will help you select the right vendors and equipment you need from moving companies to office furniture and take on the project from start to finish. We coordinate technology placement and cabling. We arrange for keys and security card access and provide an on-site “Help Desk” during first days ensuring employees get settled.

Space Planning

RMS provides valuable, expert input to the design and layout of your new office space. We evaluate your workflow and define efficiencies that careful space planning can provide.

By helping you to understand your architectural drawings and reviewing technology placement and cabling and power needs we will create a custom space plan identifying the best locations for your furniture and equipment.

We will list all furniture and equipment that needs to be discarded as well as provide you with reputable vendors to buy new furniture and equipment. We’ll even recommend finishing touches like photos and art to ensure an ideal and pleasant working environment.

Technology Transition

When you move, RMS will coordinate with computer, telephone and technology providers to ensure your systems are up and running in your new location on move day. By reviewing your phone and network design requirements with your in-house IT department we will be able to present our recommended solutions.

Once the requirements are defined we will assist with ordering the products, arrange for financing if necessary, and even coordinate the installation to ensure that your network is reinstated as quickly as possible.

Vendor Procurement

Let RMS recommend the architects, movers, general contractors, technology and all move related vendors and then negotiate the best contract rates with each vendor to reduce overall project cost.

Once assigned, RMS will conduct a walk-through with all vendors to clarify expectations, coordinate meets with the general contractor as well as communicate any changes in schedule and plan to all vendors.
